3-Phase AC Motors

Brake Motors - Leeson's three-phase, 208-230/460 Volt, ODP and TEFC motors are ideally suited for use on conveyors, machine tools, door operators, speed reducers, cranes and other industrial machinery requiring quick stop and/or holding torque. They feature Stearns 56,000 and 87,000 series brakes and either a drive-end C-Face or non C-Face end shield. Brakes are fail-safe and are spring set type. Load is stopped automatically when power is removed and they feature a power off manual release for convenience or in case of a power failure. NEMA Design B performance, premium Class F insulation, durable steel frame construction, UL recognized component listing and CSA certification. Made in U.S.A.

Compressor Duty Motors - Motors designed for air compressors, pumps, and fan and blower applications, which require high breakdown torque and rugged mechanical construction.

Explosion-Proof Motors - These Explosion-Proof motors are ideally suited for hazardous environments and for use in applications that may contain explosive gases or materials.

General Purpose Motor - These three-phase AC motors are designed to both EPACT and Premium energy-efficiency mandates. They meet the energy efficiency requirements of the United States and Canada for general-purpose industrial motors while delivering new levels of starting torque, overload capability and reliability. We have both ODP and Enclosed designs in frame construction of either rolled steel, Aluminum or Cast Iron and HP ratings of 1/6 HP through 700 HP.

Fan and Blower Motors - Industrial quality, ball bearing motors for fan and blower service. Moderate starting torque and improved electrical design to reduce stress on the fan blades during start-up. Suitable for belt-driven fans or fan-on-shaft applications. Self-ventilated design, may be mounted outside of the fan's airflow.

IEC(Metric) Motors - For use on machine tools, textile machinery, and other equipment with metric dimensions but requiring the heavy-duty torque and performance characteristics of motors designed for use in North America.

IEEE 841 TEFC Cast Iron Motors - The motor of choice for Petroleum, Pulp & Paper, Refineries, Above-Ground mines, Foundries, Cement Plants and Chemical Process Applications.

TEFC Severe Duty Motors - Leeson's line of TEFC, Severe Duty, Three-phase AC motors provide both premium energy-efficiency and outstanding performance. They meet the energy efficiency requirements of the United States and Canada for general-purpose industrial motors as well as meeting the Premium motor efficiency levels.

Washdown Duty Motors - Leeson's Product offerings include three-phase Washdown Duty Motors. These motors can be ordered with white epoxy coating, stainless steel, or encapsulated stainless steel housings. These motors can also be ordered for food processing environments.

InverterRated Motors - Designed for inverter or vector applications where up to 2000:1 constant torque speed range is required. Typical uses include: material handling, machine tools, conveyors, crane and hoist, metal processing, test stands, pumps, compressors, textile processing, and other industrial machinery needing variable speed operation.

Premium Efficient Wattsaver Motors - LEESON's 3-Phase, Premium efficient Wattsaver motors are designed to meet the new motor efficiency mandates that go into effect December 19, 2010. This product line includes Rigid- base and C-face designs in both ODP and TEFC enclosures. In addition, we carry a line of Premium efficient Severe Duty motors as well as Premium efficient General Purpose and Fan Duty single-phase motors.

Pumping Motors - Consists of Jet Pump Motors (for use in Commercial and Industrial water pumps and water systems), JP Pump Motors (for use with close-coupled pumps where the pump impeller is mounted directly to the motor shaft in environments that are relatively clean and dry), and JM Pump Motors (for use with close-coupled pumps where the pump impeller is mounted directly on the motor shaft in environments that are relatively clean and dry).

Multi-Speed Motors - LEESON's "Modular Production" utilizes specially designed and standard components to make almost any imaginable NEMA frame, multi-speed or low-speed motor available when you need it.Whether for the everyday or non-so-everyday needs, their Custom PDQ Program can build the motor to fit your needs.

50 Hertz Motors - Leeson's line of 50 HZ General Purpose motors are totally enclosed fan cooled designed, 12-lead motors. Applications include compressors, pumps, conveyors, fans and blowers. Rigid base and C-Face motors are available.

200-208/400 Volt and 575 Volt Motors - 200/400 Volt Motors are designed specifically to run on lower than nominal voltages at 60 HZ. Motors have a 1.15S.F and Class F insulation. Two enclosures are available ? TEFC and ODP. General Purpose use on compressors, pumps, conveyors, fans, blowers, and other machinery where 575 volts, three-phase power is readily available.

Inverter Rated Three-Phase Motors- Designed for inverter or vector applications where up to 2000:1 constant torque speed range is required. Typical uses include: material handling, machine tools, conveyors, crane and hoist, metal processing, test stands, pumps, compressors, textile processing, and other industrial machinery needing variable speed operation.


Crusher Duty Motors - Motors are designed for belted (radial load) applications only due to the Roller bearing construction. Applications would include: Rock Crushers, Pulverizers, and Conveyors. Lincoln Crusher Duty motors are also standouts for Bandmills, Chippers, Balers and Compactors. Lincoln Crusher Duty motors have the "get up and go" capability of a Design C motor and the excellent overload capability of Design B...truly the best of both worlds when it comes to torque. Lincoln Elevator Motors - Includes VVVF Elevator Hoist Motors (designed for Geared or Gearless Traction Elevators, 100 fpm to 500 fpm operation and up to 12 or 15 floors), Hydraulic Elevator Pump Motors (used in Hydraulic pump passenger, service, freight, and dumbwaiter low-rise elevators. Automotive Duty (U-Frame Motors) - Ultimate cast iron U-Frame motors provide premium energy-efficiency and outstanding performance. "P" efficiency code models comply with the efficiency requirements of the United States and Canada for general purpose T-Frame industrial motors. Medium Voltage Motors - If you are looking for a large frame motor that can provide exceptionally long life, rugged durability and outstanding performance, remember, you can only get out of the motor what the manufacturer puts into it.
